Katie Fleetwood is a McLean Meditation Institute certified meditation & mindfulness teacher, a mindfulness in the workplace trainer through MMI Mindful training company, and a children's mindfulness and yoga instructor.
As a former elementary school teacher, Katie is beyond thrilled to apply her expertise in teaching to her area of passion. She feels it is an honor to share the practices of mindfulness and meditation with individuals and businesses seeking to up their wellness game and improve the quality of both their personal and professional lives and relationships. She also adores sharing practices with children of all ages, as she feels a mindful living mindset gives children tools that will enhance their futures in countless ways.
Through private lessons, workshops, and workplace trainings, Katie shares healthy ways to reduce stress, improve performance, increase clarity and overall wellbeing, and bring a sense of calm to your daily life. She teaches tools that provide individuals and organizations with simple everyday solutions that have tremendous benefits.
Katie developed her own practice as a way to ease the stress and burnout she was experiencing in her own life as an elementary school teacher. Through the implementation of a daily meditation practice and mindful living techniques, Katie experienced a transformation in her interactions with her students, co-workers, and, most importantly, with herself. She now experiences a state of physical and mental balance and is able to manage stress in a fresh and healthy way.
This experience inspired and empowered her to bring these teachings to others. She is committed to and passionate about sharing these techniques with all who are ready to learn!
